As trained and skilled experts in abseiling techniques, our teams can clean any windows on your building that are either difficult to reach efficiently, or are impossible to reach by other methods.
Rope access is the only viable means of cleaning windows in certain areas of many buildings. It can also be a much more economical way to access those difficult to reach places. Abseiling can potentially save you up to 60% compared with scaffolding, hydraulic platform hire, or a suspended cradle.
All of the equipment we use either meets or exceeds Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) requirements. Eyebolts are used to anchor window cleaners to the building, and must be inspected every 6 months. Your building may already be equipped with eyebolts. Otherwise, we can supply a portable anchoring system.
Our technicians stringently follow the safety guidelines established by IRATA. Furthermore, all team members are fully trained and possess IRATA certification. When you hire Tailor-Made, you can be confident of the absolute professionalism and competence of the workers who arrive to clean your windows. Our teams will carry out the job proficiently and with minimal disruption to your building and its occupants.
Our teams work under the supervision of IRATA Level 3 operatives, who are highly trained in abseiling as well as abseiling rescue techniques. Thankfully, however, due to the safety, skill level and training of our team members, our Level 3 workers function mainly in a supervisory, rather than rescue, capacity.
When you contact Tailor-Made for your window cleaning needs, we can schedule a visit to your site to provide you with a free risk assessment and method statement. Contact us on 01992 303405.
